Bryson has formal qualifications in electrical engineering and information technology. He also holds a Master of Business Administration.

Bryson has previously managed the transmission standards and plant procurement team at Western Power. Over the period 2005-06, Bryson provided expert advice to a process change program at Western Power to improve maintenance, asset management and strategic planning processes in the organization leading up to the decentralization of Western Australia’s utility sector.
Bryson has extensive technical knowledge of transmission and distribution high voltage equipment. Together with contracts management expertise, including both purchasing and supply sides, Bryson is able to develop complete strategic procurement strategies for high value projects.
