Patrick is an experienced commercial consultant advising on and managing high-value, high-risk commercial and business transactions and strategies in medium to large scale business and the Government sector in the mining, resources and energy industries. Patrick has extensive commercial management experience with high value/high risk infrastructure projects and has been lead commercial manager for the owners’ team, managing EPC suppliers and direct contractors.

Patrick has performed various senior level commercial roles for large organisations including, HIsmelt Corporation, Griffin Group, Deloitte Consulting, Andersen Consulting and, Burswood Casino. More recently Patrick was working as commercial consultant with Horizon Power, playing a key role in developing the procurement framework, evaluation of RFP respondents and development of the various agreements including the Power Purchase Agreement, ancillary project agreements and contracts for the $500 million, 150 megawatt South Hedland Power Project being built over the next 30 months. Previously, Patrick was engaged as GM Project Management Consultant (PMC) with the Griffin Group managing the commercial arrangements and commercial strategy for new-technology clean coal technology project (value circa $150m) and as the owners commercial and project General Manager and for a bio-fuel electricity and superheated steam production facility (value circa $700M). Patrick was engaged to provide commercial, strategic, project and commercial management specialist advice and services during the engineering and construction stages of Blue Waters 1 & 2 power stations, which had a combined value of $1.3B and over 400MW of electricity generation contracted capacity.

Patrick’s experience now includes delivery of commercial advice for power station projects ranging from 10MW to 400MW and delivering generation of more than 850MW of power to Western Australia.
