Peter has a wide ranging telecommunication engineering and executive management experience ranging from detailed access network knowledge to a firm understanding of core, transmission, switching and mobile architectures. Roles embraced include, network planning, construction, project management, maintenance, research, cable design, modelling (both network and business), training, business development and program management.
This experience has been accumulated over 37 years in Australia and overseas with Telstra, in its various evolutions including Telecom Australia (International Ltd), the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and the Asian Development Bank.
Peter has been seconded to various telecommunication entities in Asia and the Pacific and worked for a year in a research establishment in the UK.Since leaving Telstra at the end of 2005, Peter has successfully completed a number of telecommunication planning and evaluation studies for clients ranging from Government, through start up telecommunication entities, oil gas and mineral companies, to real estate developers.
Peter’s consulting roles have centred around economic and technical analysis with an emphasis on efficient use of network.
